Coming Home Late *a morby story*

"He must be working late,"He groaned,"But I miss him soooo much!"He sulked to the bedroom and grabbed one of Mordecai's shirts, slipping it over his head, he gave it a sniff. 

"It smells like him,"He purred,"He can't be THAT late can he?"Rigby then went into the living room and plopped down on the couch. He flipped on the TV and started watching corny drama shows.

"Don't be silly Melissa! I'm sure Bobby is just working late!"A woman said over the phone.

"But Karla this is his FIFTH time coming home late this week!"The other woman replied with tears running down her cheeks. 

"You're right Karla."She then hung up the phone and it skipped scenes to show a handsome man in bed with a blonde haired woman, she was holding onto his chest. 

 "But  Bobby what if Melissa finds out?"She purred.

"Don't worry babe, she thinks I'm working, plus she thinks I'm "faithful"." He laughed and Rigby instantly turned off the TV. Mordecai couldn't be cheating on HIM could he, nah he's faithful. Rigby let out a quiet sob, but then wiped the tears away,"NO! Mordecai would NEVER do that to me...our life isn't a dramatic corny soap opera!"He said to himself, he checked the clock, midnight, now what could he possibly be doing? He dismissed the thoughts from his head and grabbed Mordecai's pillow, wrapping himself around it and breathing in the sweet scent of Mordecai. He soon found himself drifting off.

Mordecai eagerly opened the door to the house, he was physically exhausted, he worked overtime to get money to buy Rigby something special. He sat the present down softly on the coffee table and yawned walking back to the bedroom. He found Rigby snuggled close to his pillow and it made him chuckle, he must have REALLY missed him. He carefully removed Rigby's arms and legs from the pillow and let the raccoon instead snuggle close to his chest, his legs and arms wrapped around the blue jay's body. He planted a soft kiss on Rigby's forehead and soon he fell asleep.

The next morning Rigby was the first awake, he opened his eyes droopily to find Mordecai right there snuggled close to him. He smiled and breathed in his scent. 

"Morning honey.."Mordecai cooed softly kissing him on the lips. 

"Where were you last night..I  missed you.."Rigby softly squeaked as he pushed himself closer.

"I worked overtime so I could get you something.."Mordecai smiled. 

Rigby popped up,"Really?"
"Uhhuh...come with me to the living room..."Mordecai led him to the living room and picked up the little box that he left on the table, he got down on one knee.

Rigby let tears caress his cheeks, but managed out,"Wh-what are you doing?"

"Giving you to the proposal you deserved 2 years ago when I proposed first..but I couldn't afford the ring..."He opened the box to reveal a sparkly diamond ring,"Rigby will you re-new our vows?"

Rigby sniffled,"Of course I will..."he held out his hand and Mordecai slipped the ring on his finger. 

Mordecai then moved closer and deeply and passionately kissed him on the lips, Rigby's arms snaked around his lover's neck, while Mordecai's wrapped around his waist. 

"I love you Rigby..."Mordecai softly whispered into his ear.

"I love you too.."Rigby sighed.
