Nightmares *a morby fanfic*

"Yeah, man, I mean, it can't be THAT scary right, it's just a lame video game..."Rigby said.

~After 2 hours of playing the game~

Rigby whimpered slightly and shook as it was Mordecai's turn to play the game and his turn had already been over and scared him to death. Mordecai made his character walk through the forest and then, slender man popped out of nowhere. Rigby shrieked and jumped burying his head in the pillow he was clutching close to him. Mordecai just yawned and shut off the TV,"Okay, Rigby, time for bed man."

Rigby shakily got on his feet and sprinted upstairs, he made it to his bed before Mordecai turned out the lights and he slowly shut his eyes. 

Rigby awoke, breathing deeply, he looked around, nothing but his room. He whimpered slightly, and looked towards Mordecai, he was so sound over there in his bed sleeping peacefully. Rigby quietly and quickly darted out of bed and to Mordecai's bed, tears were gathering in his eyes as he remembered his horrible dream. He reached out and shook Mordecai gently,"Mordecai,"he whispered, "Mordecai!"he repeated in a strained voice.

Mordecai sat up with a groan, as he turned and looked at Rigby, he sighed,"What do you want?"

"Umm..w-well...I-I uhhh..I had a nightmare,"Rigby squeaked.

"Yeah? And what do you want me to do about it?"Mordecai asked.

Rigby whimpered once more and he let the tears slowly caress his cheeks as he quietly sobbed,"Make em' go away...p-please l-let me s-sleep in your bed tonight!"

Mordecai sighed as he watched the little raccoon bury his head in his hands and cry quietly, he gently reached down and scooped him up,"Okay...just..stop crying..okay?"

Rigby sniffled softly and buried his face in Mordecai's chest,"Okay,"he took a deep breath and soon found himself peacefully sleeping.
